I bought a star projector a few weeks ago for my video and have taken some trial photos of it to see how well the light will show on camera.I waited until it was fully dark outside before taking photos so that I could achieve the best results. The first photo was taken on a bed where the white blanket reflect the light in different area, this contrast of projection and shadow looks quite nice. However when i tried the projector again my white wall the matte white wall really reflected the light well and proved to give a better result.
This photo was taken using a vivid filter setting, I found the colours are a lot brighter and sharper which could look really striking in my music video. I plan to take some trial video shots to see if the lights are as effective and work around making the light as strong as possible.
