Scrap Booking

The screen shot to the left is taken from the opening scrap booking scene, the medium wide shot enables the audience to establish the scene and identify all the elements in this scene. However it is harder to make the audience clearly focus on Wendy from this shot.

Due to this I have use various close ups from different angles to focus the audience's attention onto Wendy and the emotions she is portraying.

I have chosen to have her looking reasonably sad in these shots, this helps link to the lyrics "say goodbye" "old friend" the whole transition from school to the work environment is shown to be hard for her to cope with, hence the need/want to run away and leave it all behind.

 I have used an over the shoulder shot to help portray the view of Wendy while also having her in shot to leave this connection between the clips.

However I have also used a point of view shot of all the images and pieces of paper/materials to clearly show what Wendy is doing/looking at. During this shot it also clearly shows the images of Peter and Wendy together creating a link between the characters from the start and making the following meet up scene more understandable and not confused for just two character meeting for the first time.
