Necklace

I wanted to have an item which Peter gives to Wendy which triggers her memory and makes her realise the Neverland trip was real.
In the Disney/original story Wendy gives Peter the thimble when he doesn't understand what a "kiss" is as a replacement. When Wendy asks for a kiss back he gives her an acorn.
I wanted to ideally incorporate this as the item somehow, however I didn't want to have just an acorn, I wanted it to have a more modern twist. I had the idea of having an acorn necklace, however I couldn't find any and the ones I found online where very expensive.

I managed to get a real acorn shell and pierce two holes to thread some cotton through and connect it to a small chain. I attached a little mirrored bead I removed off a different necklace I already had and the end result I am actually really pleased with.
