For the outside neverland scenes I have searched for some setting to use, I have taken photos and analysed how practical each of them is.
The three photos above are photos of my local woods, they are only a 10 minute walk from mine and could easily be driven to in 2 minutes, as long as the weather is pleasent these settings would be idea for some of the outside shots.
I really do like this setting I think it portray the neverland, overgrown, living in the wild theme well. However this location was very hard to get to, it took a long drive and longer trek through overgrown paths blocked by fallen trees/nettles and branches to get here, although it would look really good to have this as a setting I don't think it is practical to expect my actors to get here and managing to get filming equipment here would be very challenging.
The two photos above are also at the same location so problems with location is likely to mean I cannot use these settings which is a shame.
I thought about having some shots which are by a river/lake, this would bring something different to the scenes and more it more interesting than just a plain forest, also it would break up the shots and hopefully eliminate any risk of repetition.
this location is the same as abover just taken facing the other direction, the area was underneath a bridge where there was a sturdy wide path neck to the river, it was very peaceful and would be a very unique and interesting setting to have.
To the right shows a photo of the brige, the water was so clear all you could see the roof reflection, you could hardly tell it was water. (bottom half of image is all water)
